Day Gallery

Orders from the table, photos from every guest, a seat for everyone.

A platform that lets cafés and restaurants take orders straight from the table, in the guest's own language, and lets hosts of weddings and parties collect every guest's photos, send invitations and seat people, all from one panel.

The challenge

Day Gallery is a small Sarajevo team that sells digital tools to cafés, restaurants, pubs and grill houses, and to people planning weddings, birthdays and company parties. Its venues serve guests from everywhere, and a menu only sells if the guest can read it.

The platform was already running, with venues and printed QR codes on their tables. The new system had to take all of that over without reprinting a single code, carry orders from the table to the bar in real time, and leave every venue in charge of its own menu, prices and hours.

How we approached it

  • No venue had to reprint anything. Every QR code already on a table leads to the new system, so the move happened without the guests noticing.
  • The order reaches the bar the moment it is placed, with a sound alert, so no one has to watch a screen and no guest waits to be noticed.
  • The venue stays in charge: ordering closes on its own outside opening hours, a per-device limit and bot protection keep out abuse, and prices change in seconds.
  • One click puts a whole menu into seven more languages. The first run translated 843 items.

What the client got

What changed for the client and for the people they serve, shown on the live project.

  • The guest scans the code on the table, picks a language and orders. The venue sets sizes and prices, time-limited offers and its own promo banner.

  • Guests upload what they shot through a QR code, with no app and no sign-up. The hosts keep every photo from their day and download them all at once.

  • An envelope that opens in 3D, a countdown, the day's programme and a wish book, with a personal greeting for each guest and RSVPs that arrive with the number of companions.

  • Guests type their name and find their table. Happy guests are invited to leave a Google review, while lower ratings reach the owner privately, first.

  • Menu, photos, prices and translations, stock that drops with every confirmed order, staff groups with their own permissions, and recurring tasks.

After launch

  • Hosted and looked after by us

Since July 2026, on our infrastructure, with a certificate that renews itself.

  • Every release can be undone

Each update starts with a database backup and a rollback image, so a release can be reversed within minutes.

  • Careful with guests' data

Changes to the data structure go in as reviewed additions, never with a command that could remove anything, so guests' orders, photos and RSVPs stay safe.
