Managed hosting with tested backups, security maintenance and continuous uptime monitoring.

A website is a running system, not a finished file. Our care plans combine managed hosting, monitored infrastructure, tested backups, security maintenance and technical support so there is a clear owner when something needs attention.

How long does it take to move to your hosting?
Most takeovers begin with a technical assessment, followed by preparation and testing of the new environment before the cutover.
What do hosting and care plans cost?
Plans cost €50, €150 or €250 per year, billed annually.
Are we locked in?
No.

The essentials are covered from day one

Hosting and ongoing care are kept under one arrangement, with the services included in your plan documented in advance. We monitor the systems we manage, maintain the agreed stack and respond when an issue falls within that scope.

  • Hosting configured around the application rather than a generic package, with monitored resources, appropriate deployment regions and CDN or edge delivery where the project benefits from it.

  • Domain renewals, DNS records and TLS certificates kept documented and on schedule, reducing the risk of an avoidable expiry or configuration change taking the site offline.

  • Automated off-site backups with a defined retention policy and regular restore testing, so recovery is a documented process rather than an assumption.

  • Dependencies, security patches, configuration updates and malware monitoring handled as part of the maintenance schedule, with higher-risk issues prioritised when they appear.

    WordPress Maintenance
  • Automated checks watch the availability of the services we manage and alert us when something fails, so incidents can be investigated quickly rather than discovered by a customer first.

  • A defined monthly allowance for small changes such as copy updates, new sections and minor functionality, so routine improvements do not need to become a separate project every time.

WordPress Maintenance

When nobody is actively looking after the site

  • The website may be online, but nobody can say when it was last updated, whether the latest backup can actually be restored or who receives an alert when something fails outside working hours. That uncertainty usually becomes visible only when an incident happens.
  • The hosting account exists, but nobody actively manages it. Updates, capacity, certificates and alerts are left unattended until something fails, at which point it is unclear who is responsible for diagnosing and fixing the problem.
  • Recovery is much easier when it has been planned before an incident. Backups need to exist off-site, restores need to be tested, and the recovery process needs to be understood before the day it is actually needed.

Chosen for the work, not for the trend

We choose tools based on the requirements of the project, your existing systems and what will be practical to maintain after delivery. Below are the technologies we typically use for this type of work, and why.

  • Vercel

Used for suitable Next.js projects that benefit from managed deployments, preview environments, edge delivery and straightforward rollback workflows.

  • Hetzner

A strong fit for projects that benefit from EU-based infrastructure, predictable resources and greater control over the server environment without unnecessary platform overhead.

  • Cloudflare

Used for DNS, CDN, caching and network-level protection where appropriate, helping reduce latency and adding another layer between public traffic and the origin infrastructure.

  • Docker

Packages the application and its dependencies into consistent environments, reducing differences between development, staging and production and making deployments easier to reproduce.

  • GitHub Actions

Automates testing and deployment steps with a recorded history of what ran, what changed and which version reached production.

  • UptimeRobot + custom probes

External availability checks are combined with application-specific probes where needed, so monitoring covers not only whether a site responds, but whether the services that matter are actually working.

The work stays with you

  • One accountable team

Hosting, monitoring, maintenance and the systems we manage are handled through one team, so there is a clear point of responsibility when something needs attention.

  • Tested recovery procedures

Off-site backups, defined retention and regular restore testing give the site a documented recovery path if data or infrastructure needs to be restored.

  • Performance maintained over time

Caching, delivery, database and application performance are reviewed as the site changes, so new content and features do not quietly turn into avoidable technical debt.

  • Clear monthly reporting

Maintenance, incidents, updates, monitoring and included care work are summarised regularly, so you can see what was done and what needs attention next.

Questions before you move?

If you cannot find the answer below, send us your question. A member of our team will reply within one business day.

Ask us a question
01How long does it take to move to your hosting?

Most takeovers begin with a technical assessment, followed by preparation and testing of the new environment before the cutover. A straightforward site can often be moved within one to two weeks, while larger applications or complex DNS, email and infrastructure setups may take longer. The migration window and rollback plan are agreed before anything is switched.

02What do hosting and care plans cost?

Plans cost €50, €150 or €250 per year, billed annually. Larger setups are priced to the infrastructure they need, and the price is fixed before the plan starts.

03Are we locked in?

No. We use documented, portable setups wherever practical, and client-owned accounts remain under your control. If the engagement ends, we provide the agreed configuration, documentation and access needed for your team or another provider to take over. Contract terms and notice periods are defined clearly in the care plan.

04Can you host and maintain a site you did not build?

Yes. We begin with a technical assessment so we understand the codebase, infrastructure and current risks before taking responsibility for it. You receive the findings and any required stabilisation work in writing before ongoing care begins.

05What happens if the site goes down outside working hours?

Automated monitoring continues outside working hours and alerts us when a managed service becomes unavailable. Response times depend on the care plan and severity of the incident, and significant issues are followed by a clear summary of what happened, what was changed and any further action recommended.

06Where is our data hosted?

Hosting location is chosen with the project’s audience, performance, privacy and compliance requirements in mind. EU-based infrastructure is available where data residency or contractual requirements call for it, while other workloads may use different regions or managed platforms. The agreed hosting and data-processing setup is documented before launch.

07What can the included care time be used for?

Included care time covers small changes that do not need a separate project — for example content updates, form changes, tracking adjustments, minor interface changes and small fixes. Larger features or structural work are scoped separately before any additional cost is incurred.
