A portal for a Sarajevo veterans' association. More than ten years of its news live in one archive, each of its five clubs has a page of its own, veterans can apply for membership online, and the association runs both of its domains from one place.

The challenge
The association of minor volunteers of the 1992–95 defensive war in Sarajevo Canton was founded in 2011. It reports on its work and runs five clubs, for peace, hiking, fishing, cycling and shooting.
It needed one home for all of it: years of news from the old site, a page for every club, and a way for veterans to join without paperwork. It also had two domains, mdr-ks.com and maloljetniborci.ba, which had to show the same thing without anyone publishing twice.
How we approached it
- Publish once, appear twice. Both domains run on one system, so a story published once appears on both.
- The history came along. Old news and member records were brought over from the previous site, with Bosnian letters intact.
- Clubs without extra work. Each story is tagged with the clubs it concerns, and every club page fills itself.
- Shared links that look right. A story shared on Facebook, WhatsApp or Viber shows its real headline and photo, not a blank card.

Peace, hiking, fishing, cycling and shooting, each with its emblem and its own stories, filled automatically from the archive.
Veterans apply on the site, with consent to data processing, and the application goes straight into the association's register.
The association publishes news with photos and club tags, and keeps its member register with search, member cards and printing.

Moved to our servers
In August 2026 both domains, the database and the portal moved to our infrastructure, with fresh certificates and tighter security.
Mail moved too
The association's mailbox came across with all 1,033 messages, checked one by one, and is properly authenticated.
Nightly backups
The whole database is copied every night to separate storage.
